In 15 years, the number of songs released in albums under Shinhwa’s name is roughly 300 songs…
From the 10th anniversary concert in 2008, Shinhwa’s individual stages has been left out from Shinhwa’s concert. Apart from Eric, all the members have released their own solo albums (Eric has also somehow participated in a lot of songs as a soloist ^^) They’ve held lots of concerts too and I don’t want to include in individual stages even in Shinhwa’s concerts.
Yet another reason is, with just roughly 1/10th of the songs released so far, even just by picking only 2 songs from each full album, we’d already have enough songs for a concert…there isn’t enough time at a concert even if we just used Shinhwa’s songs.
But, when considering about the members’ stamina and concentration, we can’t just keep extending the concert duration.
As the number of albums increase, it gets even harder to come up with a set list for the concert.
Especially the worry regarding the really really difficult opening performance… At some moment it obviously comes across as something emotional but getting to that moment, I’m at a loss.
What kind of opening are you anticipating for the 15th anniversary concert?
Today’s the day of ticketing and also 1 more month left till the final rehearsal ^^
It has been 15 years since their debut as an idol group…it’s not like they’ve released a new album, and neither is it the year-end or Christmas season…how many singers in South Korea can, within moments, fill up the largest indoor concert venue, Gymnastics Stadium, for 2 days, with the sole reason of it being the 15th anniversary? Shinhwa and the fans are really blessed.
Shinhwa and their fans, who have always remained the same and grew old together, now is the start of their heyday…
